Why Did the “Still RP” Music Video Come About?

 

Real talk—“Still RP” wasn’t even part of the original plan. It wasn’t something the crew sat down and mapped out. It just happened the way real hip-hop moments do—organic, unexpected, and straight from the vibe.

 

One day, I linked up with Horizon at Kiko’s studio. Just a regular session, nothing too serious at first. Then Kiko played this beat he had cooked up, and he called it “Still RP.” The moment that beat dropped, you could already feel it—there was something different about it. The energy was there, heavy and raw. No overthinking, no hesitation… just pure instinct.

 

From that moment, everything started moving fast. The idea sparked right there in the studio, and within just one week, boom—the track was recorded and the music video was already shot. No delays, no second-guessing. Just straight grind mode.

 

That whole experience marked a turning point too. It was the beginning of Kiko really stepping in and becoming active with RP. He wasn’t just behind the scenes anymore—he became part of the movement, contributing to both the sound and the vision.

 

McMing also played a key role in making everything smoother. From the creative process to the execution of the MV, everything just clicked. The teamwork, the hunger, the passion—it all came together naturally.

 

At the end of the day, “Still RP” is more than just a track and a music video. It’s proof of what happens when the right people are in the same room, locked in with the same energy. No plan, just vibes—and sometimes, that’s when the best work comes out.
